All Things Considered
30 Year Anniversary
May 2001
Today we're taking time out from the usual routines to talk to our fellow 30-year-olds, who speak about the experiences that have shaped them. We'll hear from people in various walks of life, from various backgrounds who have one big thing in common: their age. Robert Siegel hosts this hour of the program, which features 30-year-olds from Boston, Atlanta, Denver, New York and, primarily, Pittsburgh. First, we hear a profile of Astro Teller, CEO of Bodymedia. He talks about how the good economy has shaped the attitudes of 30-year-olds toward their jobs.
